Its when they drag out all the foreigners who can sing Chinese songs, juggle whilst drinking beer and in my case bring out the Plastered Fan Dancing team. Was actually not as boring as it sounds as it was mostly about a brilliant new tv series on BTV about this guy who is a Lao Ban or boss and all his trails and tribulations. The clips they played really made me laugh. Same director as “Beijing Ren Zai Niu Yue” does anyone out there remember that one? A real classic. Anyway despite the very upbeat mood and the laughter felt around the studio I couldn’t help but notice the decorations, or “columns of death” that were behind the celebrities being interviewed. These columns were covered in pictures of mass graves, starving children etc all a bit depressing really.
