Last year I lost my eye lashes and burnt my face letting off a dud firework at a friend’s home during Chinese New Year. So I promised my wife that this year would be the last. But I must confess I&#8217;m a firework addict. I will spend a fortune on them every year and the Plastered fireworks party is a great excuse to go crazy, and all for a good cause. This year we had such a huge crowd of people come out and donate so generously that we raised over 18,000 RMB for Magic Hospital. Looking back at the pics of me carrying fireworks with a cigarette in my mouth or leaning backwards over a box while lighting the fuse has made me realize that next year I shall leave the lighting to the professionals. I promise!!</p>
