Rustic Wins Battle of Bands Hong Kong
The first time I saw Rustic play was in D-22 as part of the Plastered Rock Weekend student band competition and I thought they were crap, Micheal Pettis from Maybe Mars pointed out they were the next thing and I didn’t believe it till they played on the big stage at Yu Gong Yi Shan and i was blown away.
After this they went on to win the battle of the bands in Beijing and then went onto Hong Kong to take part in the asia finals….which they won last weekend. Its great news for Rustic and for Beijing rock. They will now go onto London in December to take part in the finals. We at Plastered are very pleased!

Actually Rustic won the China competition of Global Battle of the Bands and will be going to London in January 2010 to compete in the World Final.
There are winners from other Asian countries going to compete in the World Final (Japan, Malaysia, Thailand etc.)
