Plastered Rock Weekend
After months of planning the first Plastered Rock was a huge success. By 10pm the venue was full, packed solid with students who had won free tickets via our website and the hardcore fans who had come early to get in, so the crowd was full of energy.
The evening kicked off with Rustic, one of the three winning student bands, they were insane, amazing stage presence and really got the crowd going. After which was Bird Striking tipped to be the next student band to get signed to a record label, they were brilliant and looked very excited to be playing in front of over 1000 people. The final student band was Mr Graceless and they certainly didn’t disapoint all in all the student bands were really good.
By the time GAR took the stage the venue was really buzzing, the mosh pit was heaving with young fans… and me. Carsick Cars were a huge hit as were P.K.14 both bands have massive followings.
Thanks to all of you that made it such a successful night, we hope to repeat this next year but on a slightly larger scale so more people can attend. We will be adding more bands to our collection so keep an eye out for yet more cool band t shirts. You can see both GAR and Carsick Cars wearing the Plastered T shirts designed for their bands, these designs are selling extremely well from our outlets and online.

It was the best show I have ever been to. Not only were Carsick Cars and the other headliners doing their usual, but the three opening bands were surprisingly good. I have never seen so many young Chinese going crazy over their own bands. More, please.
