Tonight Is The Night
I think i might still be drunk after the finals of the student night at D-22 – a really great night with tonnes of people showing up to support the different bands. Some really stood out, some were just not up to it, but all in all a huge success and a great leap forward for the music scene here.
We hope to pull off another one of these next year and we’ll keep you posted on that via this blog.
So the winners are……. Rustic (1st)and Bird Striking(2nd) and Mr. Graceless(3rd) . These three bands will play Yu Gong Yi Shan tonight between 8pm and 10pm.
After that the big three acts will follow. I would suggest that anyone who hasn’t yet got a ticket, come early as we have a huge amount of people coming tonight and besdies, you don’t want to miss the student bands!
Also the first 500 through the door will all be getting Plastered give-aways.
Hope to see you all there tonight, I have to be on best behaviour as BBC will be filming and I’ve got to fly to Xiamen to film a CCTV program at 8am the next day.
Have a feeling I’ll be walking around the airport with my sunglasses on…

I installed my own Camera System and was quite pleased with the results, until one day i got robbed. The system i installed caught the robbery on tape, but the problem was the picture was not good enough to identify the robbers. It cost me over $7000 in losses. More than i would have paid for a professionally installed CCTV System. Finally i decided to go pro and call in the Big BoSS as he calls himself. I called cgctvboss.com. Who really gave a crap about my situation and were willing to listen and help. They spent a considerable amount of time on the phone trying to understand the situation and make suggestions. I ended up with a 10 camera security system from them. They even did some test captures and showed me the picture quality offline to put me at ease.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
