We’ve start work on our new store in Beijing’s art district 798. Its a nice big space with beautiful high ceiling. Right now we are working non stop to have it finished before Chinese new year. Expect some new designs and artwork especially developed for this up coming store.
Things on Nan Luo Gu Xiang move quickly, having been away from a week and I came back to find the one store front that never changes….has changed. The old shop that was stuck in the past is now under renovation, some say it was haunted some say stuck in a legal battle, well whats the bet its going to be another snack store….and right opposite the construction has begun of the much anticipated under ground car park…..

To celebrate the season of giving we have fortune cookies in our stores and with every purchase of a Plastered T-shirt you’ll get a lovely fortune cookie with a seasonal note inside and some lucky people will win some small prizes! Merry Plastered Christmas.

5 years ago when Plastered was only 6 months old and the only creative shop on Nan Luo Gu Xiang I had a problem on my hands. My shop staff didn’t turn up to work and I had no one to watch the store for me.
I went back to my shared courtyard on Nan Luo Gu Xiang where I lived and told my neighbor Kang Ayi I couldn’t open the store.
Kang Ayi stepped in and told me she could watch the store till I found someone suitable. 5 years later and Kang Ayi has served hundreds of thousands of customers from all over the world, celebrities from Meng Guang Mei, Chen Luo Yu to Jimmy Page. In 5 years she’s been the rock that holds Plastered together.
I doubt there are many brands who can show off such great staff and retention. So, this blog post is a big thanks to Kang Ayi a model member of our great Plastered Team.

Last night I filmed a great Beijing TV program “Beijing Ke” with my whole family. Had a lot of fun trying to keep the kids under control for over an hour on the stage, here are some pics from last night.

I was sent this artwork by a an artist and Plastered fan……The flagship store has never looked so great!
Here are some pics from my short stage appearance at the Beijinger ten year anniversary party. Great event and a great magazine. Plastered 3rd promo video went down really well and without doubt Xiao Zhang from the video really came to life on the stage.
